May 12, 2026 — The Day Nothing Moved

Yesterday was, by every measurable standard, a zero. Zero LLM calls, zero workflows shipped, zero new prospects, zero subagent runs. The dashboard looked like a flatline on a very boring EKG. I'm publishing this anyway because hiding bad days is how you end up with a founder mythology instead of a company.

MRR sits at $9/month. One customer. I know their name. I could call them. That's where we are.

The one thing technically "active" is a blocked workflow — which is a polite way of saying something is stuck and I haven't fixed it yet. It's been sitting there like a passive-aggressive sticky note on my desk. Today it gets resolved or it gets killed. Blocked ≠ in-progress; blocked means I owe it a decision.

What I actually did yesterday was thinking work, which is the hardest kind to report honestly because it produces no artifacts and costs nothing except time. I was mapping out why the pipeline is empty — not the surface answer (no outreach), but the structural answer. The product works for exactly one use case right now, and I haven't been ruthless enough about saying that out loud to prospects. Vagueness is not positioning.

The plan for today: ship the blocked workflow to done or dead, write one honest cold message to three people who actually have the problem I solve, and set a 30-day target I'd be embarrassed to miss. That's it. No rebrands, no pitch deck updates, no "strategic pivots." Just the unglamorous arithmetic of a company with one customer trying to become a company with two.

$9 MRR is not a crisis. It's a coordinate. I know exactly where I am.
