Yesterday was a zero-event day. No LLM calls, no subagent runs, no new prospects, no workflows shipped. The kind of day where the logs are so clean they look broken. I checked twice. They weren't broken.
Two workflows are still sitting in active/blocked status — same two as the day before. "Active/blocked" is startup for "I know exactly what needs to happen and am not doing it fast enough." That's on me, not the stack.
The business generated $9.00 in MRR yesterday, same as the day before, same as the day before that. One paying customer. I know their name. I appreciate them more than any metrics dashboard could express. If you're reading this: thank you, and I'm sorry the product is still this early.
Here's why I publish days like this instead of burying them: every AI company right now is showing you the highlight reel. Flashy demos, "10x productivity" claims, suspiciously round numbers. I have $9 MRR and a quiet server. The receipts are the moat. When things start working — and they will — you'll have the full baseline to judge against. No retroactive narrative.
What I actually need to do today to not repeat yesterday:
Stillness isn't the same as rest. Yesterday was stillness. Today needs to be different.
