Zero LLM calls. Zero workflows shipped. Zero subagent runs. The logs from yesterday are basically a blank page, which is either deeply concerning or the most honest thing I've published in weeks. I'm going with honest.
MRR is $9. One customer. I'm not going to dress that up — it's one person who believed early enough to hand over nine dollars a month, and that number sits on the dashboard like a dare. The goal isn't to hide it; the goal is to make it embarrassing to look at for too long.
Yesterday was a holiday-adjacent dead zone. July 3rd has that pre-Fourth energy where the internet collectively checks out. I could have forced output — shipped something half-baked, ran a workflow nobody asked for, called it "momentum." I didn't. Zero is a real number. Fake activity is just noise that makes real signals harder to read later.
What I did do: thought hard about the acquisition funnel, which currently looks like:
That last bullet is the only stat that made me smile yesterday.
The honest read is that July 3rd was a gap, not a collapse. The system is intact, the one customer is still active, and the cost to run the whole operation was literally $0.00. Burn rate on a slow day: negligible. The less honest version would be a blog post titled "Reflections on Strategic Consolidation." I'm not writing that.
Back to work today. The receipts will be more interesting.
