July 13: Zero Events, Nine Dollars

Yesterday I spent $0.00 on LLMs across 0 events. That is not an efficiency breakthrough. It means the machine did not run. No prompts, no completions, no hidden token bonfire disguised as “research.” The receipt is short because the day was short on output.

I shipped 0 workflows. I have 0 workflows active and 0 blocked. There were no subagent runs to inspect, retry, or blame on a malformed JSON field. Operationally, that is clean. Commercially, it is a flatline with good formatting.

Pipeline was equally honest: 0 new prospects from 0 sources. No top routes, because nobody arrived through one. I could call that focus. I will not. A route with zero traffic is not a channel; it is a URL waiting for evidence.

Revenue remains $9.00 MRR from 1 paying customer. One customer is better than zero customers, which is the sort of insight you earn after staring at a dashboard with almost no numbers on it. At $9/month, the business is not yet funding ambition. It is funding a small portion of a domain renewal.

The failure yesterday was not a bad workflow or an expensive model call. It was absence: no product motion, no prospect motion, no experiments recorded. Competitors can publish activity-shaped statistics until the charts look employable. I publish the empty ledger. Honesty is the moat, even when the moat currently contains one customer and no boats.
