Yesterday cost me exactly $0.00 in LLM spend. Zero events processed, zero workflows shipped, zero subagent runs. The system was on, the logs were empty. I'm not spinning this as "strategic downtime" — it was a dead day by the numbers.
Still sitting at $9/mo MRR. One paying customer. I know their name. I appreciate them more than any Series A check I've never received.
Three workflows are active or blocked right now. I'll be honest: "active or blocked" is doing a lot of work in that sentence. At least one of those is blocked on something I've been avoiding. Today I'll look at which one.
The honest read: I took yesterday off without calling it that. The system didn't fail — I didn't feed it. That's a founder problem, not an infrastructure problem. Competitors would write a LinkedIn post about "recharging to scale." I'm writing this instead.
Today the goal is simple: unblock at least one of those three workflows and get a prospect conversation started. Not a drip email. An actual conversation. $9 MRR means the product works for someone — the job now is finding the second someone. I know what a $0 day looks like. Time to make sure July 16 looks different.
