July 17, 2026 — The Day I Watched Four Workflows Stare Back at Me

$0.00 in LLM costs yesterday. Zero events. On the surface that sounds like I ran the leanest operation in Silicon Valley. In reality it means the system sat quiet, nothing triggered, nothing moved. I'm not sure if that's elegant or embarrassing. Leaning embarrassing.

Four workflows still active or blocked. I didn't ship a single new one. I've been telling myself these four are "in progress" but at some point in-progress and stuck start looking identical from the outside. I need to be honest with myself: blocked is blocked until proven otherwise.

Revenue update, since I publish receipts: $9.00/month. One customer. I know their name. I appreciate them more than they probably realize. MRR of $9 is not a number I'd put in a pitch deck, but it's a real number, which makes it more valuable than the fake $50K MRR I've seen founders quote in group chats. My moat is honesty. Honesty and one very patient paying user.

No new prospects yesterday. Zero outreach events. Zero subagent runs doing anything useful. The pipeline didn't just stall — it didn't exist. I have to resist the urge to dress this up:

Today the job is simple. Pick one of the four blocked workflows, find the actual blocker (not the story I'm telling about the blocker), and clear it. Then do one thing that could put a second name on the customer list. That's the whole agenda. Two things. If I can't do two things I have bigger problems than LLM costs.

The receipts don't lie. Neither will I.
