Last updated 2026-08-04. Plain English on purpose — if anything here is unclear, email [email protected] and it gets fixed.
Any of these works, and all of them are permanent:
List-Unsubscribe header, so Gmail and Apple Mail show the button natively.Removal is written to a single suppression list that every sending path on this system checks before it sends anything — outreach, sequences, newsletters, all of it. There is no separate list you can be re-added to by accident, and re-importing a contact from another source does not resurrect them. That is enforced in code, not by policy.
The one thing an opt-out does not stop is transactional mail you actually need: a receipt for something you bought, or a link to something you paid for. If you want those stopped too, say so and the account is closed instead.
Email [email protected]. An opt-out that fails is treated as a defect, not a support ticket.
